Last Thursday, I was playing basketball at church when some nice comments came my way. I haven't played in about 5-6 weeks. It is held each Thursday, but I have a difficult time in getting there, thus the every 5-6 week thing. Anyway, I picked up the ball and started to play. One guy said, "Don't you want some warm up time?" I then replied with a quick, "No thanks!"
The guys were probablly thinking that this guy is going to suck so he doesn't need any time to warm up anyway. However, I started playing as if I had been playing every week and that I had warmedup up for the last half an hour. The comment that stuck with me was the one I got from Dan's brother. He said, "You absolutely amaze me!" "I don't know of anyone who can just pick up without missing a beat." I was doing some things that you guys have not seen me do too much of in the past. I have more moments where the general makes an appearence. I am thinking about putting 5 stars on my shoes. Thus, completeing the 5 star general appearence.

Funny - there is a guy that occasionally joins the group I'm part of - he is also referred to as 'the general'. He's a black guy, from somewhere in the Caribbean, who spends most of the game barking out orders to his teammates.
That guy and I should have a summit. Sounds like my kind of leader.
