New School: First Availible View

This is a drawing of what my new school might look like. There might be a few small changes. Maybe the brick won't be so red or the rock so light. All of the building is not visible, but you can get the jist of what is going on here. The only parts that you can't really see are the cafeteria and the gym.

The three wings are preK-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. The center wing will be the one that I will be teaching in. The smooth cream colored walls would be a rough cut stone. Probably dolimite (limestone).

The construction will not impact my 500 trees or 2+ acre prairie. They are even incorporating an outdoor classroom in the construction of the school.

Interesting...glad to her the forest and prairie remain.

Also looks forward to more detailed info in the future.

Looks very school-like.

Stone walls will be pretty cool looking. If they can't be made artificially, I hope the stone will be quarried(sp?) from somewhere relatively nearby.

They are not looking at artificial, they are looking at the real thing.

Those are your own quotes cracker!

It is a nice drawing. Once it is complete, I will be honored in giving you a tour. You are the only one to have seen the inside of the old building. Dan as been on the grounds during his November visit.

None of us has had more say in what a building that we work in looks like or what it has in it more than me. Not incluing Meth of course. For Pete's sake that's his job.

It is a great feeling to have so much say in what we want in a building / school. I am shaping the structure that I could be working in for the next 30 years.
