Many horror freaks call F.W. Murnau's silent German classic the scariest Dracula adaptation ever. The bone-chilling tale kicks off when a sailor on a ghost ship opens a coffin, thereby releasing a vampire named Count Orlok who sets off on a rampage of terror aimed at a real estate agent and his comely wife. The creepy caped one is played by Max Schreck, sporting grotesque makeup that transforms him into a symbol of pestilence and decay. Description from Netflix.
I have to say that I really appreciate the silent film era, but my friends I didn't enjoy this movie. I give it a one out of five stars. I was so board watching this movie I fell asleep. I tried watching all of it because I have a lot of respect for the film. There was a few interesting components in the film but not enough to captivate my attention. Nosferatu sucked my blood until I passed out.

I think you need to start noting when you are lifting a description directly off of IMDB or AllMovie, or just not use the quotes at all. Beyond the obvious illegality, it always takes me a minute before I realize they're not your words. This is the internet age. We can all seek out the movie description easy enough if we need to. It's your review that we can't get anywhere else.
On the fi;m: I remember liking it, but not loving it. But isn't the freaky guy who played the count woth at least two stars?
I think that I noted that I lifted the write up on the Abominable Snowman but clearly forgot to put it down here. I ment to give Netflix credit. Thanks for looking out for my leagal protection.
Criticizing my post is beyond cool. How excited to see a comment and then when I read it find out that it is a scolding. How deflated would you be if someone did that to you?
I put the description on there so that people don't have to look it up. This format works for me. Most of you are familiar with the film, but I am not going to assume.
After the description, I like to give a little bit of what I thought. I am not going to write a giant post on what I think just a couple of sentences.
My intent is to share with you all what I viewed and what I thought. Maybe you would check it out and maybe you won't. I thought that I would at least expose to you a nugget of what I think about the bizzare movies that I watch.
Sorry, but your comments struck a bad cord with me. I understand what you are saying.
both movies look good, but I am especially interested in that snowman movie
Slow down, Mr. Offended! Disaster control reporting for action!!
I will tell you again, THIS IS THE INTERNET AGE. I promise you that if you don't have the description up, we can all find it easy enough on our own.
For real, dude - I am VERY interested in reading what you think about movies. Even if it's just a couple of sentences. Keep on reviewing - I love it!
By the way - I never got a reaction from you on the movie review spreadsheet I sent you at the end of 2007. Could you not open it?
I couldn't open it.
I made an Adobe Acrobat version - I can send it to you.
Do IT!
The love returns...ahhhh.
I've got Nosferatu in my queue and even started watching the streaming version, but I wasn't enough into it to make it worth my while. I'll give it another try later.
Try The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Another silent film and pretty interesting throughout.
Thanks for the suggestion Meth. Glad you can be entertained by the love.
