There is no sewage smell just the smell of over turned soil. When I rounded the corner of my house when I got home I saw this mess. I though that I was just going to see like a grave site type of hole. I was wrong. I was very wrong.
My backyard no has a mountain or at least foothills where there once was an endzone to many football games. I call it Agronomy Hill. Thank goodness I didn't have a fence or anything that they would have to bulldoze down. They did a number on my tree as well. They have a different mindset than we have. Just charge through those branches forget about prunning them correctly.
It is hard to gage the size of this hole but it is about 12 feet down. The ladder is placed on the storm sewer not the waste sewer. The waste sewer, the one that they are fixing, is about two feet down from the strom sewer. I measured the topsoil around the hole and it looks like I have some very rich soil around my house. It measures around 9 to 10 feet. Wow! I hope that they get it finished today. I will feed you more info tomorrow. Happy flushing!

did you recognize any of your meals down there in the hole?
Something looked like shake-n-bake but I was not 100% sure if it was or not. :)
