Yesterday church was canceled because of crazy winter weather. Last night as I watched the two hour Knight Rider television movie, schools that had a two hour delay were scrolled across the bottom of the screen. I don't know what I watched more the movie or the scrolled schools. Well my school was not up there at 10:00 pm so I figured we would have school the next day. RING!!!!!
Another teacher called me at 5:45 am to tell me that our school has been closed for the day. "Yes", I muttered to myself. We have a calling tree established at my school. I then have to call all of my teammates and the third grade team leader. To me the calling tree is stupid. If you can't get up and check the weather for yourself, especially after you go to bed and we had crazy winter weather, then your a bone head. Teachers have been making it to school and staying home from school for decades without a flipping calling tree. I love trees, but my forester mind tells me that this tree needs to be cut down.
The good news for today is that I will have the opportunity to finish my comments to Dan's album. I got through the first five songs yesterday. It probably won't look like a lot, but I spent a good four hours on those five songs. I don't know how long it will take me today to wrap it up. You can expect those up on the blog today or tomorrow.

There may come a day when that tree saves your life...I'd let it be.
Are you a forester? I get annoyed when I have the day off and I have to get up at 5:45. I rarely can go back to bed and rest my little slit eyes.
I have no immediate plans for cutting down, but I am marking it with bright orange paint.
Yeah, since you had the whole day to laze around doing nothing but write comments...
