Welcome to Spooky World - Friday

WELCOME! That's what I felt from the H. Clan all weekend. Dan was a great host and we had a blast.

I will be publishing in a series of short posts instead of the traditional longer day-by-day marathon posts that we are all use to from Clogger.

The first thing that I did when I got to the City of Blinding Lights was to call Dan to let him know that I was close. I told Dan that I saw some construction that was holding traffic up for miles on the south bound lanes, and he said that I should not take 94 to his house. Instead I took 494 to 100. From 100, I exited to Brooklyn Blvd. When I got out of the Montero I walked up to see this awesome sign and some jacked up pumpkins. I was totally jazzed that he left up his decorations for me to see. Looks like they had a good time here on Halloween night.

I was greeted with a warm hug and kiss. Just kidding about the kiss. We got into the Saturn and rumbled to the Eagle Nest. Broadway Pizza was in order as was a pitcher of Summit Beer. We ordered a large (16inch) cheese pizza and the pitcher of beer in about three minutes of sitting down. It is safe to say that we knew what we wanted. We had a good conversation about the future of CMC. I called it the CMC Summit! The beer ordered was not a coincidence. Amazing enough we were thinking the same thing and the conversation flew by as the pizza was placed in front of us.

Let me not forget to mention the bizarre mini eagles that were flying around the parlor. If not mini eagles then they were tiny decepticons trying to land a bite of our yummy pizza. Actually they must have been some type of nat or fruit fly.

When we got our check it said, "Have it!" on the bottom of the check. We were confused by this because most people would say, "Thank you!" She must be trying to introduce a new slogan similar to Nike? Great pizza and great company! I would have to say that it was my favorite pizza of the weekend. Dan might be flipping out right now? It hit my unrefined pallet just right. Definitely the best second supper I had in a long time. My first supper was McDonalds at the beginning of the trip.

I payed Have It and headed towards Video Universe to rent some movies. This too was a fast endeavor. We rented Aristocrats and Robot Chicken. Dan never seen Robot Chicken before so I introduced him to it.

More to come later................................

A CMC Summit of two? What, pray tell, decisions were made?

Hard to go wrong with pizza and beer to start any NSE weekend.

I might let Dan post about the Summit on the CMC blog. Funny to have two guys discuss the problem and then hammer out a solution, but I believe that all will vote yes in favor of this new proposition.

Indeed, the beer and pizza were great. However, I am not the beer guy Dan or Meth is. Dan mentioned a beer crawl to me before I headed up to see if that's something that I would want to do.

I declined because I know he would have a better time doing that with Meth or Gibbs. I can't drink a lot or handle my beer in hearty quantities.

I've missed two days of work with an amaznigly bad cold. Back in today but weak. God knows what T-Clog brought up from Iowa that I came down with.

Anyway, as I'm able to catch up on work, I will try to find some time to post the results of the CMC Summit Summit.

"Have it!" was quite amazing.

You are just allergic to corn dust. Johnny Seed Corn is working on a special super corn for the US Government.

I hope you rebound quickly!

Truly sad if I brought something up to you. We haven't been sick at all this year. It is a matter of time however, but no colds as of yet.

I hope that all of you stay as healthy a possible this season. Maybe a few more bottles of Yeti Imperial Stout is in order to help your recover?

Shot of courage?

Weird, too, since I hadn't been sick (other than a hangover) for nigh on two years.

Basketball in the sleet could be blamed, were we to believe my dad and not science.

Maybe if you kept your mittens on you would not be sick? :)

When will this saga continue?

Jeez, I feel like the Terre Haute saga wasn't ever finished.
