Mesa, Arizona

Well my friends it is good to write about something other than my trips to see friends. On Tuesday the family and I are flying off to Mesa, Arizona for a four day vacation. We will be going to the Frank Llyod Wright's Taliesin West, the photo above, on Friday. Meth might find my comments interesting on this structure when I get back? As a family, we never been outside of a state that didn't touch our home state. We are flying out of Cedar Rapids on Alligent Airlines. While we are in Mesa, we will be staying at the Days Inn.

Our goal is to experience some warmer temperatures and to have some fun. Four days in 80 degrees is not too bad. Better than 120 degrees in July and August. We will be going to the Phoenix Zoo, Museum on Natural History, Desert Botanical Garden, Hohokam Park (Cubs Spring Training) to see the Cubs beat the San Francisco Giants, and other desert activities.

We will arrive back on Saturday. I hope you all enjoy spring break as well as I will enjoy mine. I will share stories and photos when I return.
