First Pinewood Derby

At the check-in, we had the car weighed and measured to make sure that it was good for the race. They took his picture and asked for the name of the car. Jonah said, "The Dominator."

This picture actually came out better than expected. Jonah's car is the red, yellow, and blue one. We made it into the shape of a wedge so that it would slice through the air.

A participation medal was awarded to the scouts who did not recieve a trophy. Jonah did average with his first car. I helped him make it, but he did a lot of the work. Some cars were obviously made by just the dads. There was about 144 heats. It took over two hours to conduct the derby. We both look forward to next year's race.

I rememeber my first Pinewood Derby. It was on a wooden track and it didn't last too long. I think Al helped me make my car. I know I had a slab of lead on the bottom. I tried to find it, but it must be at my mom's house?

If I had my say Pat Meth, you would get an honorary First Class rank for having to put up with us two Eagles on so many trips.

Yes, your many merit badges were almost the death of me on many occasions.

Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

You two clowns have made me into the Hulk.

You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Great stuff - sorry for the delay in posting.

Dads that "do most of the work" are the same dads that berate little league coaches and they make me sick.

Pat Meth: When you're angry you bitch slap T-Clog on the head. He KNOWS he doesn't like you when you're angry.
