I am figuring out grades for the end of the second quarter while listening and watching the Cyclones play on the road at Texas A&M. These guys are really developing a chemistry. They are leading the Aggies by 23 points. If they hold off the Aggies they will be 12-3. They just started the Big 12 schedule a couple days ago with a victory over Texas. Last year they were 15 and 15 under Fred's first year as head coach. Texas A&M were picked with Kansas to finish first in the Big 12. I wish you guys were still Cyclone fans so that I would have someone who shares my excitement. Go Iowa State!

Yes! Victory on the road. Fred has his act together in Cyclone Nation. Mixdorf, do you remember watching a tourn. game at the OP across form West High. We were televised and I smashed the light with my fist when I got super jacked on a play? Good times brother.
I remember it well. I think I have our 30 seconds of fame on a videotape somewhere.
I'd still describe myself as a cyclone fan. It just takes real effort to follow them from here. They barely cover local colleges, let alone anything from anywhere else. But I do track down the scores on a semi-regular basis.

Indeed - I concur. I, too, am a Cyclone fan. They're somewhere in the midst of the various MN teams I follow. My heart is most with my beloved Wolves, who are turning things around as well (though not as fast, it seems, as the guys from Ames).
