This coming Saturday I will be helping out with Habitat for Humanity. Last year, when I worked with HH, I helped roof a house. I am excited to learn something new. I will be working for most of the day with some other guys from my church small group.
Emily tried out Saturday for Major Leauge Softball throught the Waterloo Lesuire Services. They had to catch pop flys, scoop up grounders on the infield, time their running, and bat. She did a good job, but lacks the T-clog competetive fire. Her coach called last night, after the draft, to let us know which team she is on. She was drafted by the San Francisco Giants. She will have games on Monday and Wednesdays. Looks like I need to fill the cooler up with ice and beer. Go Giants!

on the first thing - giving your religion a good name. Way to go.
on the 2nd thing: Sweat it not. It could be that Emily is a special gift from God intended to teach you how to kick back and smell the flowers once in awhile. In my world - from a family chock full of sports aptitude & acumen, Lucy is looking a lot more like a Mathlete at this point.
Way to go Levenduskies.
As the most athletic in a family of mathletes I can vouch that moderation and well-roundedness is a good thing.
