Well I was at the library last Thursday because Emily earned a scholarship that would give her free tutoring for the summer. She is getting a jump start on her math before entering junior high this fall. Anyway, I was starting this a new post when the tornado sirens went off. I had to log off qiuck and get Emily and myself downstairs to the shelter area of the library. We were there for about 30 minutes. A tornado did touchdown I guess near the Waterloo airport.
This week the weather is great and I am checking the e-mail front. It appears to be a very weak front and it seems like it has stalled.
My subject for last weeks post was suppose to be mostly about my aunt. We buried her last Thursday morning. She died at her home on Father's Day. I saw her the night before and sat with my dad and Uncle Don for a couple of hours. Sarah and the kids saw her briefly on Saturday as well. Emily and Jonah have never been to my aunts house before because we are all very allergic to cats. My aunt and her sister have MANY cats in that house and it is very gross. Emily's eyes swell shut and her skin becomes red and itchy.
I was a Paul Barrer (casket carrier)? I had the responsibility to read two passages from the bible at the funeral. My dad chose me to read it since I am viewed to be the most religious in my family. My grandmother was the model and glue to the family faith, but now the responsibility has been placed upon me to lead by example, show grace, and to keep the family together. Ask me sometime when you see me what I mean by that last sentence. Thanks for those who have already shared their respectful comments. I hope all of you are doing well! You are all in my prayers.

I will do that (ask you about it in person, that is). Only since you threw in the "?," I'll say that the term is "Pall," which refers to the cloth that is draped over the coffin that is being carried.
Interesting, in that I have a somewhat unrelated "Pall" post of my own that I'm overdue on putting up on the Oliopolis.
