Everyone around us today cancelled school except the metro. However, we are getting out two hours early today and we don't have to make up a snow day. I love it! The roads on my way to work this morning were awful. I had all four wheels clawing at the slippery roads as I passed car after car on the highway. People where driving at 35-40 mile per hour as they should be in wintery weather. I was safe as well, but I was traveling along at 50 mph. I made it sound as if I was a crazy trucking cowboy to Dan as I was driving to work and chatting on the cell phone. Yes, I was on the cell, but I had my hands free with the use of the speaker phone feature.
Our winter concert at school has been cancelled as well tonight. I will go home after our early out and play in the snow with Emily and Jonah. There might be some shoveling involved in there too. I hope that you all miss the ice! Have a great day you working knuckleheads.
